Located in the west of Mallorca facing the offshore Isla de Dragonera, Cala Connils is a removed beach club oasis that attracts devoted followers from land and sea. A rocky inlet frames a small beach and terraced pavilion with wooden pergola and cubist pool etched in concrete located at the water's edge. Inside, a dressier than expected beach club vibe prevails with nodes of French style among a cheerful décor of teak chair and tables covered in white tablecloths and crystal stemware.
The Food
A lunch and dinner menu begins with seasonal salads and raw bar carpaccio specialties sourced from local seafood and produce suppliers. A selection of stuff-pastas and linguine dishes are topped with langoustines and intricate shellfish selections large enough as a proper meal. Main course is best order with choice of fish grilled to perfection and then topped-off with Cala Connils’ own olive oil lemon sauce.
